Photos from the Val d'Aran Valley
The Aran Valley has mostly medium to high-difficulty trails, which are high in the mountains, and we head out here with riders who have been riding mountain bikes for a long time and with confidence.
Two hours from Barcelona and an hour and a half from the High Pyrenees lies a modern region with incredible terrain diversity. Internationally, it's known as Tremp, and in Spain as Pallars. In recent years, the local community has created an incredible network of trails here, crossing granite slabs, clay ridges, pine forests, and loose stone paths.
Perhaps the only region that needs no introduction. Finale is a longtime mountain bike mecca, home to bike tests, photo shoots, and a warm-up spot before the main mountain season begins. The town is filled with cyclists year-round. All the hotels have "bike-friendly" signs. Every mountain bike enthusiast should visit here at least once in their life.
